It’s a new hotel decorated as the old houses you find in Gjirokaster, so it’s very pleasant. The beds were very much to our taste, you didn’t sink in. Everything was clean and the location was so convenient, because you can access the Old Town right away taking in the main street by car (or walk uphill in the cobble stones street if you like). Breakfast was varied, continental and abundant.

The property is new, well maintained, modern, and clean. It is located in 4-min walking distance from the city center. The staff is super friendly, polite, and helpful. On the first floor there is a stylish and good cafe where you can have different kinds of drinks. Even though the property doesn’t offer breakfast, you can find good places in the nearby city center. If possible, I’d suggest the property to offer some sandwiches or croissants for breakfast though :)

We really enjoyed our stay at this place. Everything was clean and tidy. The owners of the house are extremely hospitable and friendly. We got the best emotions from our stay at Isaray Guest House. For an extra payment, you can order a delicious breakfast with bio products, I recommend trying it.

He organized taxis and an overnight tour and even took us to the thermal pools when the bus wasn’t running as it too early in the season. The guesthouse was immaculate and food amazing. Can’t rate it highly enough. Thank you so much !

What a nice place to stay in Gjirokaster. Room was clean, big and lovely, breakfast was very good. Petro and Erisa, are the best host that you can have. Nestled at the foot of the snowy mountains in a charming Albanian village where chickens cluck and dogs bark in the distance, we felt as if we had briefly become part of the local life, surrounded by vineyards and blooming roses. The host was incredibly warm and hospitable. She prepared fresh and delicious breakfasts and dinners for us and even gifted us her homemade preserves and home-brewed wine, giving us a true taste of the local culinary traditions. The room is warm, clean, and comfortable, and although the bathroom is not big, it is cleverly designed. The location is excellent—just a 10-minute drive to the hot springs. It’s close to several rafting spots too. At first, we couldn’t find the hotel using Google Maps, but we later discovered that typing the hotel’s name directly into Apple Maps gave us accurate directions. My daughter absolutely adored the chickens—she woke up early just to go see them, haha. There’s also a little donkey on the farm, and Bob, the neighbor’s dog, is very kind and smart. Come and stay here for one night or a few days —you won’t regret it.
