Great welcome, great room, which is getting on in years but is incredibly well maintained. It suits the character of the hotel and didn't bother us in any way. The beds are very comfortable and the cleanliness is exemplary. The dinner was sensational. The selection of ingredients (vegetables and herbs from the hotel's own garden) from local producers were prepared with great care and dedication. The breakfast was just as good (freshly squeezed orange juice!). Anyone who doesn't stay here for dinner has only themselves to blame and is missing out on something exceptionally good.
