Small hotel allocated a bit outside the city center with stunning view on the lake and the city. Nice, clean and very quiet rooms. The only hotel on my trip in the Bolivian highlands which had bed covers warm enough for the chilly winter nights. Very good deal for the money.

You can communicate with the host in English, and he is super responsive and always trying to help you. Located in Comunidad Yumani in the Isla del Sol Island region, Inti Illimani Lodge features a garden. The property has lake and garden views. A à la carte breakfast is available daily at the lodge. Staying here made our visit to Isla del Sol more memorable. The place is conveniently close to the Temple of the Sun (Pilkokaina). We arrived via a Bolivia Hop ferry tour that stopped at Pilkokaina port, followed by a walk up the steep hills to the accommodation. It's a bit away from Yumani village, approximately a 25-minute walk. Be cautious when walking back from late dinners in the village, as there are no streetlights. The owner kindly prepared a simple dinner of trout for us. They have a kitchen where you can boil water and use the microwave. The view from the accommodation was phenomenal, offering us the most beautiful sunrise views right from our bed. The night sky was incredibly clear, allowing us to marvel at the stars and Milky Way.Breakfast was delicious, featuring eggs and fruit. The heater was provided, ensuring our comfort during cooler evenings.

The staff at the counter were very friendly. We arrived late on the bus. They provided us with hot water, gave us a place to rest when we left, and even helped us arrange a taxi. We really liked this lady who worked there that evening.

Beautiful hotel – our room had the most incredible view of the titicaca lake! It was spacious, cozy and clean and the owner of the hotel was exceptionally kind. She cooked a great dinner for us and the breakfast was rich and tasty. The path from the harbor to the hotel is very steep (that’s true for all hotels on the island), so it is better not to bring a big suitcase. We did – luckily you can pay for a donkey to carry up your luggage.

Super comfy, beautiful view from our room, really exceptionally helpful staff! Tea and coffee during our stay! Not much road noise, a hidden gem in La Paz! Would stay again!

Homemade gingerbread biscuits and marmalade for breakfast - a lovely touch.

The rooms were spotless — everything felt fresh, tidy, and well-maintained. The attention to cleanliness truly stood out. The location was perfect, close to great restaurants, shops, and main attractions, yet still quiet and relaxing at night. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the overall atmosphere made me feel right at home. The staff was professional and welcoming, always ready to help with anything I needed. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for comfort, convenience, and outstanding service.
