It's an historical Spanish hacienda from the 19th century, very well managed and maintained by Don Mario and his lovely family. The rooms are spacious, heated and clean. The view to the lake or patio are magnificent, very calm and quiet as it is a 10 minute walk from the town center. Highly recommended!

Struttura stupenda, ci si arriva dopo un’oretta di camminata in questa isola incredibile! La nostra camera con la jacuzzi aveva una vista che non scorderò mai. Breakfast was delicious but I def loved finding a garden in the heart of the city. Staff helped me book tours and a transfer also recommened nice places to eat close to the Hotel

Utasawa si trova a Comunidad Yumani e propone la vista sulla montagna, un giardino, una zona spiaggia privata, una sala comune, una terrazza e un ristorante. We absolutely loved staying here. The lodge is owned and operated by a local family. They have built a great lodge that is really well taken care of. The view of the lake from the rooms and the property is absolutely stunning. We found time everyday at the property to just sit on the outside chairs to take in the view, read a bit and watch the people go by with their donkeys and produce from their land. The family (Oscar, Sonia, Lis) were super friendly and helpful. They did a great job with breakfast. We loved that they also offered dinner which Sonia, the mother, makes herself. After taking long hikes around the island, we didn't have the energy to go out for dinner. The guestroom is very well done and super well taken care of and clean. We stayed in a family room with a lake view which was very large. The shower had reasonable pressure and hot water. The bed was very comfortable with plenty of blankets and an electric heater for the chilly nights. It is a very steep climb from the boat drop off point to the various lodges. The Utasawa lodge offers donkey service for getting your luggage up the mountain. I strongly suggest you take advantage of it. We thought it was a bargain, particularly after watching everyone with luggage struggling big time to make it up the mountain to the various lodges and hostals. We were sad to leave after three nights. We highly recommend staying here and would definitely recommend to any of our friends if visiting the island.

Our best night on this holiday. Our most expensive also but honestly, for this kind of room, it is worth every penny. The room is very spacious, with 2 queen sized beds super comfy, excellent heating system which was very nice indeed, a beautiful balcony with the best view on the lake and very large windows so can actually see the lake from every corner of the room. Toilets and bathroom are separated which is great and there’s an excellent attention to details. The decoration and the amenities are perfect. The buffet breakfast was delicious and plentiful. And finally the staff was so kind and helpful, special thanks to Sandra who is wonderful.
