To say that this island is paradise is an understatement but this hotel makes it even more of a haven. Contrary to most places that have a sun deck or a garden, here, you get your own private bungalow with private terrace and lounge chairs plus 2 gardens, and being high up on the hill, the views are stunning. The room is very spacious, with a super comfy bed and a living room area with 2 huge windows overlooking the lake and Illampu( which you also see from the bed). The bathroom is sparkling clean and large. There’s a heater that works so you sleep very well. Breakfast is plentiful and delicious, as is dinner. We stayed 2 nights, wishing we had stayed longer. But the very best of all is Sonia and her children who are so nice and welcoming and will do anything possible to make you happy. They arranged for donkeys to carry our luggage, I recommend you do;) Really really can’t recommend this hotel enough.

Location is great as it's super close to the Sun temple in the South part of the Island Cristian and his mom Rosa were super welcoming and helpful. The breakfast was a nice way to start the day By far the nicest place we stayed in Bolivia!! Highly recommend this place

Situé à Comunidad Yumani, l’établissement Quilla Wasi - ISLA DEL SOL comprend un jardin, une terrasse, un restaurant et une connexion Wi-Fi gratuite dans l’ensemble de ses locaux. Quilla Wassi est un établissement au charme fou, grâce à ses belles poutres apparentes, aux pierres et aux grandes baies vitrées, rappelant les chalets cossus des Alpes. La chambre est très confortable et la literie excellente. Il est perché très haut, au niveau du pueblo, requérant un peu d'endurance afin de l'atteindre, mais la vue y est à couper le souffle et vaut largement l'effort... Les hôtes sont accueillants et aux petits soins. Nous recommandons sans hésiter!
