Before coming to Rio, I was a bit worried about safety, but this hostel completely put my mind at ease. It has its own secure entrance, which made me feel very safe. The metro station is just a few minutes’ walk, making transportation super convenient. There are several supermarkets nearby, which is very handy, and the beach is only about a 20-minute walk away—perfect for a stroll or relaxing. I really enjoyed staying here and would definitely choose this hostel again next time I visit Rio!

Super friendly and helpful staff. Spectacular views. Be ready to walk up and down hill to reach beach area, we'll worth it Great breakfast buffet. They can also accommodate a request if not too busy during breakfast servuce.

Het Bamboo Búzios Hostel ligt in Búzios, op 12 minuten lopen van het strand Armação. Het biedt een aantal voorzieningen, waaronder een bar en gratis WiFi. I love the staff. Everyone was so kind and helpful. The boys Samuel and Lucas from the Huna restaurant made my stay even better. I had lunch there twice and I loved it. I'd also highlight the girls from breakfast service. Sayonara and the others were so kind, attentive and helpful.

Set in Paraty, 3 km from Paraty Airport, Pousada Apple House Paraty boasts an outdoor pool and access to Cachoeira do Tobogã waterfall. Guests can enjoy the on-site bar. Apple House is a beautiful hotel, 5 fantastic swimming pools, a great games room for our children and they loved the ice cream shop too. The restaurant has fabulous room and the breakfast is to die for, so much choice and the desserts are unreal. The staff are amazing, everyone we met walking along greats you a big smile, the stay go out of their way to do everything for you from checking in to arranging the transfers into Paraty each day and evening. Tassiana was amazing for organising the boat cruise, which was unbelievable, she really couldn’t do enough for us. Going up and beyond and awaiting when we needed some urgent laundry taken care of she arrange this for us too and also arranging a really nice transfer for us to Ilha Grande. Thank you Tassiana for everything and all the other staff at Apple House.

We arrived already at 9am and they offered to check in directly with half price, which was great after the night flight - thank you!! Everything was clean, restaurant for dinner also very good. The gym was at good level too for my purposes.
