First of all, I didn’t realize that Cruz Roja means Red Cross! So, not only you're staying and enjoying your trip, but you’re also helping others at the same time. Secondly, the staff there are amazing people—warm and welcoming. Even though I don’t speak Spanish and they don’t speak English, we were still able to connect and understand each other. The location was perfect for catching an early morning flight since it’s close to the airport. Although, the town itself is quite small. Room was super clean and comfortable. They have AC, wi-fi and provide a tasty breakfast. I would love to stay there again someday.

We stayed there before and after coming back from a jungle trip and it just felt like coming back home. Highly recommended!

Cabañas alto del aguila in Puerto Nariño heeft een 2-sterrenaccommodatie met een tuin. Het hotel heeft familiekamers. Het was een geweldig verblijf. Elke ochtend kregen we ontbijt, een lekker gekookt ei met brood en vers fruit, koffie werd ook geserveerd. Het voelde als een grote familie, het personeel was super vriendelijk. Samen met Felix 3 tours gedaan, was ook goed georganiseerd met lunch erbij! De beesten die er zijn maken het verblijf nog liefdevoller, aapjes, hondjes, eendjes en papegaaien! Al met al geweldig!

Our stay here with Leo and his wife, Elizabeth, exceeded our expectations. The rooms are comfortable and the hammocks are a great way to unwind after a long day. Leo took us on amazing adventures and when conflicts with scheduling happened, he saw to it that we were well taken care of. He speaks some English and we speak some Spanish, but it was only a small obstacle and it didn’t take away from the tours. Leo is incredibly patient and knowledgeable about the area and Elizabeth is an amazing cook. It felt like they had included us as family during our stay. Thank you for taking such great care of us during our adventure. We would recommend this stay to anyone.

The best stay of our Colombian trip, we cannot recommend it enough. The food was local and they adapted to our preferences (my partner is vegetarian), the cabins were comfortable, cozy and we felt at home. Is a one in a lifetime experience to fall asleep inside to the jungle and still feel safe. Thanks to Martin, Gabi, Fran and the entire team!
