The place is split in two locations, so there are two bars, two pools even two restaurants. we chilled one day at the first and the second at the other. At both places we were met with friendly people and super service! I recommend doing the activities they provide in the hostal and just enjoy being there!

Casa Zarah - Alma Hotels se nachází v ideální lokalitě v centru města Santa Marta. Pláž Bahía de Santa Marta se nachází 400 metrů daleko a Santa Marta Cathedral 500 metrů. The place is incredible highly recommend - in the center of santa Marta and very close of the sea. Everything was very clean and the room is spacious. Beds comfortable and the Moroccan inspired decoration is very beautiful. The hosts Roseline & Mar were so sweet and gave us so many tips for our trip - thank you!!! 🥰 The breakfast was delicious and the service amazing - we could choose from quite some options! Don’t miss out on the natural juice Lulo! Will come back for sure if I am around. ☺️

The staff were informative and helpful, we liked the 24h front desk assistance. The location was perfect, on a quiet street but right in the downtown of Santa Marta. Everything exceeded our expectations.

El Santuario was the perfect home base for exploring Minca! Nora and José Luis have obviously put a lot of love into their hotel- they were exceptionally kind and provided us with everything we needed during our stay. We split three rooms between 5 friends, which was totally comfortable for us. We started every morning taking in the stunning views while enjoying a delicious home cooked breakfast- the birdwatching is unparalleled to any place I’ve visited before! It’s a quick 10 minute drive to the center of Minca- we had a car, but the hotel will happily arrange a mototaxi for you, which I took advantage of as i chose to stay an extra night after my travel mates departed. We ended our evenings using the ample common areas to sip tequila and reflect on our adventures. The evenings were cool enough that we wouldn’t have used a/c even if it was available. Of course there are some bugs, but what else would you expect staying in a rustic town in the middle of the jungle?? Other reviewers noting this as a con are obviously unused to accommodations that strive to be as ecologically mindful as possible to their natural environments. This place is a real gem, located about 20 minutes by car from Minca. We are a family of four and absolutely loved our stay. Everything was excellent—especially the warm welcome we received from the staff, who made us feel right at home. The property grounds are beautiful, filled with lush nature and vibrant flowers, creating a truly relaxing atmosphere. The pool was excellent and perfect for cooling off, and we thoroughly enjoyed the breakfasts, which included fresh fruits and delicious typical Colombian dishes. Overall, it was a wonderful experience, and we would definitely go back.
