The house is located right on the edge of a forest. There’s complete silence — filled only with birdsong and the sounds of the wild forest at night. And yet, we felt a deep sense of peace and safety. We had no hesitation letting our four-year-old play around the house and wander with us along the forest stream. The house itself is spacious, cozy, and safe, with everything you might need — plus lots of toys for children and games for adults. You can choose to heat it with the wood-burning stove or electric heaters. The underfloor heating on a cold day was just fantastic! We truly enjoyed every single day in this home. Although it feels like a peaceful, remote getaway in nature, a large shopping center is just a 15-minute drive away — so you’re never too far from anything you might need. Just a note: you do need a car to get there. And there’s very little reception — the Wi-Fi is quite weak, and mobile signal comes and goes. This wasn’t a downside for us at all, but it’s good to be aware of it.

The apartment was beautiful- large and modern - everything was clean and relatively new. The woman who greeted us was exceptionally warm and made sure we were well taken care of.

The location is great, right next to the big square, and a short walk from the long beautiful avenue of trees for an afternoon stroll. The rooms are well equipped and clean. The bed was very comfortable. The coffee shop at the entrance is great, nice breakfast and they have one of the best coffee I had in Czech Republic ☕ We would definitely be happy to come back again

Situato a Svijany, a 35 km da Monte Ještěd, Hotel Zámek Svijany prevede un giardino, un parcheggio privato gratuito, una sala comune e un ristorante. Standard 3-star hotel breakfast, but we really appreciated the extended breakfast time (till 9:30 weekdays/10:00 AM on weekends). Great hotel lounge room - kids really liked it. Adults as well, as there was a fridge with great Svijany beers (including 0%) and lemonades. Perfect location for a quiet weekend with family or friends. The only attractions accessible without a car are Svijany brewery (best lager beer in Czech, IMO), a beer restaurant and a beer shop. Beer shop is worth mentioning separately, as it sells not just the beers from the brewery at bargain prices, but also all kinds of useful merch - including all kinds of Svijany-branded sports and casual under/outer wear of a decent quality.

Apartments Šimákova Vila si trova a Turnov, nella regione Regione di Liberec, a 34 km da Monte Ještěd. The location is excellent. It is both near the centre (shops, main square etc.) and not far from the start of hiking trails, which suited us, as we were hiking around Turnov. The apartment itself is well laid out, with spacious sleeping quarters, a large kitchen and lovely garden with nice views. It is very good value for money.
