Although in a busy area, the soundproofing is great, so we found it very quiet once inside. Staff are friendly and helpful. We arrived early, so we’re able to store our luggage while we explored some of the city. After returning, we found our luggage had been taken to our apartment for us. The decoration and facilities are superb. Very cosy inside. It’s also a short walk to the main train staition (we visited Bamberg one afternoon) and the nearest underground station is closer station (visited Fürth Christmas markets and old town using the U-Bahn). All in all a great stay!

The non-smoking Altfränkische Weinstube has brightly decorated, spacious rooms with cable TV. All rooms feature a private bathroom. This hotel was magical! I can’t say enough!!! The restaurant was delicious, service friendly and wonderful, super clean and so inviting. The decor made you feel like you were in a German fairy tale. We absolutely loved it, it’s like staying in someone’s home, not a hotel, and that’s honestly what made it even more special. You can drive up to the hotel to unload your car then park right outside the city wall. Parking area 5. Be sure to have at least one breakfast, it’s different every morning and was included with your stay!

The location is very good, right in the city center, walking distance from shops restaurants and main city attractions. The room was super spacious, comfortable and modern. The main highpoint was our breakfast. We were brought a very broad selection of bread, jellies, waffles, yoghurt, boiled and scrambles eggs, juice, coffee... everything served with a lot of love and care by the staff.
