A lot of the popular places feel pretty commercialised, so it was refreshing to go off the beaten path and find this absolute gem. The sweetest lady welcomed us, she was warm, helpful, and really took care of us. The rooms were super comfortable, and both breakfast and lunch were included (we even got to pick the time!). Lunch packets were available for just $3, which was perfect for hiking days. Bonus points for the cozy common room with lots of games and even a fireplace. Highly recommend!

Nice location with view, friendly owner-family, nice room, clean, hot water shower, tasty vegetarian food. Coffee, tea, water and banana bread are all day free. They also prepare packed lunch of needed. I would definitely come again!

This lodge is the only place to stay if you’re coming to Cotopaxi. From the moment we arrived we were greeted with such warmth and kindness. The meals were fantastic, the fire place is beautiful, the rooms are spacious and clean, the hot water is hot, the location is easy to get to via local buses from Quito, the day tour to Cotopaxi is great and affordable and the property is quiet. It ticks every box!

Our host Fernando made sure we had everything covered and organized daily tours to any destinations (Illinizas, Cotopaxi Park etc.) with his guides. They delivered breakfast the following morning, and it was delicious.
