I have stayed in several houses in Estonia so far, and this one could be the best. It was very clean and had everything we needed, including kitchen tools, a BBQ, firewood, clean towels, coffee, tea, etc. The sauna was fantastic—big enough for 5 people, and it's inside the house, which is much better than having a sauna in a separate cabin. The fireplace was great, easy to use, and the firewood was ready to use, heating the entire house wonderfully.(The house already has AC heating, and the fireplace just added to the warmth and coziness) There is a ski area just next to the house, and you can see people skiing from the house window. It is very close to Kuutsemae ski place, just a 15-minute drive. The host was very helpful and nice. I will definitely come back to stay here for more days next time. It would be amazing to stay there for 3-4 days.

Very comfortable and spacious, while having more then expected (there was even a toaster and coffee and tea and oil - so many places don't have the cooking things like salt, pepper and oil, which you only need so little and are therefore uncomfortable to bring along

Excellent restaurant on the 1th floor - delicious, prices matches the quality. If we travel to Otepaa again, we will gladly return to this hotel.

Hotel Karupesa heeft een gedeelde lounge, een terras, een restaurant en een bar in Otepää. First thing we were thankful for, was that our number was on the 1st floor - we overpacked a little because of the weather, so it was nice to not walk a lot and higher than the 1st floor. We liked that breakfast was inclusive and we liked the buffet. We also liked the light dimming curtains - we went to Pühajärve jaanituli festival and that meant we would come back to the hotel early in the morning, when the sun was rising - and so the curtains were perfect to make the room dark enough to get a good rest. The view out of the window was nice & green - I find it relaxing. The bathroom was also lovely, it had cleaning products and glasses for guests to use for drinking tap water or for teethbrushing and it smelled after magnolia wood there if I'm not mistaken - the ceiling was wooden and that's where the lovely smell came from, reminded me of the smell of a sauna.We had a small fridge in our number - a good addition to put our own food and drinks there to eat a little before sleep. I think we forgot our fridge magnet there, but that's not a big issue - happens 😅. By the fridge was a desk which I was happy over, because we could put our laptop there and kiddo could have fun playing games inbetween sleep and our festival visits - we went for 2 nights/3 days. I was also thankful for the receptonist to remind me of my trip planning for next year's visit - certainly will consider coming back!
