The Atalaia is perfectly located for exploring the surroundings thanks to its proximity to nearby towns such as Biarritz and San Sebastian. Take a long coastal walk and discover the stunning scenery of the Basque Country along with its fascinating history and tradition. This hotel is very well managed. From the parking area to the room everything is so easy. The place looks brand new. Everything is super clean. Receptionists are very friendly and pleasant. The room was large, AC worked well, view on the garden is nice and insulation is great. The breakfast is not a buffet; the staff takes your order and serves you with a large smile. The variety is great. The restaurant is not open at night; but there is a large shopping center at a walking distance with good restaurants and a gas station. Everything to make an extremely pleasant stop on our way back to Portugal.

This rustic house offers a choice between apartments and rooms. It also features a balcony with views of the surrounding area. Highly recommended! Great stop on our Basque cycling tour and the small apartment with terrace was perfect for us on Easter Monday as we could cook a little dinner and run a load of laundry. Very friendly owner and pleasant rural setting with views. A few bar/cafes just up the small hill in town.

On our arrival we opted for a glass of wine before a lovely vegan and gluten free dinner. A nice breakfast the following morning before departing for Bilbao. Matteo couldn’t have been more helpful. Him being Italian was an added bonus for me to be able to practice my Italian. He actually speaks very good Spanish and English too. Wonderful

Quiet but close to the town and bus stop for buses to San Sebastian. Overlooked the fact that there was no A/C, and we ran into some warmer weather, but 2 fans were provided and the apartment did not get very hot. Kitchen had everything you would need. Nice to have free and easy parking.
