Excellent base to enjoy the area. You are very close (5 min walk) to Boucanet Beach which is very beautiful, golden sand, and relatively quiet. On the way to the beach is a small shop. Directly on the other side of the property is a nature reserve where you can make a nice walk, particularly once you cross the road that cuts through it. Le Espiguette is the star beach of the region in my view, there is a naturist part you may find attractive if you are into that. For good coffee and healthy food, I recommend Alma in La Grande Motte. The house is very comfortable, we particularly enjoyed the deck which has sliding doors on either side. The house has two bedrooms upstairs and the bathroom, toilet and living room downstairs, which is very handy if you and your company have different rythms. There is even a fence on top of the stairs, keeping your small kids safe.

We loved everything about our stay at L’effet mer. Our room and bathroom were spacious and clean, and the bed was so comfortable. Katia and Christian were wonderful hosts, breakfast was delicious. We appreciated the availability of reasonably priced drinks and local products and the in room kettle and fridge . The village was very quiet even on a Friday night. We found a great pizza restaurant just around the corner and enjoyed walking around the neighborhood. It was such a relaxing stay and we wish we could have stayed longer.
