The pictures on Booking does not do justice with this place! In the evening 2 open fireplaces, operating bar, live music concert of 2 ladies playing folk Scottish music were a delight! This romantic 4-star country house hotel offers views from each bedroom. It offers a Scottish dining and local seafood in the property's restaurant with a choice of menus. Breakfast comes with two courses each with large choice, and with local produce. Dinner of good foodlevel. Beautiful Arduaine garden is next door. Wide and far views to islands and the sea.

My pod experience was amazing. The design of them is really well considered and thought out. And you really can't beat the views out onto the water. The communication was great, and I felt really well considered even though I realize I didn't interact with anyone to check in or out (but did eat at the Inn and used the shop for snacks). It was a really special place even with the rain, a delayed Ferry ride, and coming in the dark. I want to return and stay longer!

Fun Cadillac themed decor and amazing 1950s American diner where we had breakfast. The two rooms we had were great, very comfortable and with good sea views. Would go back.

The apartment has everything you need and right in the heart of Oban. This is the second time we have stayed at these apartments and we hope to go back again in the near future.

The static caravan was simply the best one we have ever stayed in , lots of delightful surprises , a walk in wardrobe, the main bedroom having an on suite , shower and toilet was fantastic a full kitchen , including a dish washer . Was really a fantastic surprise how well equipped the static caravan was , this time of year in the Highlands obviously gets very cold but the caravan heating system kept us very warm and it would certainly keep a family warm even through the coldest winter.

I really enjoyed my stay at Sugar Boat. The room was well-designed, spotless and the bed was super comfy. The shower was great and there were some extra features like a kettle, a selection of teas, ground coffee, and two freshly baked shortbread cookies. I had dinner at their bistro with their soup of the day (red cabbage with sour cream), accompanied by crispy and buttery sourdough bread. At breakfast, I wanted to try their porridge and it was scrumptious. The quality of each ingredient was high, portions were generous, and the price was more than reasonable. The staff were kind and easy-going. I definetely recommend Sugar Boat and hope to return soon.
