Situated in Grasmere, 12 km from Windermere, Victorian House features parking is limited and offered on a first come and first served basis.

The rooms come with a flat-screen TV. Some units include a seating area where you can relax. Certain units feature views of the mountains or garden. Victorian House features free WiFi . Beyond and above, we had an amazing stay. The staff was so kind and helpful. Great breakfast with lots of options! We just loved it! The room was nice and big, good bath and great view onto the mountains.

Overlooking picturesque hills, Meadowcroft Country Guesthouse is a family-run guest house in the tranquil Village of Ings, 2 miles from Windermere. There is free Wi-Fi in the bedrooms.

A delicious breakfast is provided each morning in the chandelier-lit dining room, which has a log-burning stove for the colder months. Full cooked options are served, along with cereals, yoghurts. The Guest House is very well decorated clean and fresh. Our bedroom was a good size very comfortable bed with a TV and tea and coffee facilities. Excellent shower is very powerful in a separate cubicle. There is a small lounge for guests to use with a fridge and microwave. Very nice dining room and breakfast was excellent with friendly accommodating staff. Looked a bit out of the way on the map but perfect location as a base for touring the lakes. Bus stop outside. Londis supermarket next door at the garage that stocks most things you might want including food and drinks. Five min walk to a lovely pub that had a good choice of drinks and great food menu. What we had was excellent. On site car park We were very pleased with our choice and happy to recommend.

The family-run Ambleside Townhouse is situated in Ambleside, 800 metres from Lake Windermere. It offers en suite rooms and a full English breakfast in the morning.

Each stylish room has fresh light décor. Excellent location. Was able to purchase early parking and check in. The staff were helpful and welcoming. The hotel was clean, bright, modern and comfortable. The breakfast was excellent, fruit juices, fruit, yogurt, granola and cereals and a great selection of cooked breakfast choices.

Located near Orton, Westmorland Hotel Tebay offers en suite accommodation with superfast WiFi access throughout and parking facilities free of charge. Located in a tranquil area just behind Tebay Services, with convenient access from the M6. The hotel boasts a garden with a pond, as well as an on-site bar and a restaurant. Lovely accommodation near the coast to coast walking path and lovely staff

A 5-minute drive from Bassenthwaite Lake, Ravenstone Manor is an 19th-century manor house set in 3 hectares of ground. The property is at the foot of Skiddaw, overlooking Bassenthwaite Lake. It offers stone walls and en suite bathrooms. By far, one of my favourite places to stay! We loved the outdoor terrace, the spectacular views and the genuine staff! Not to mention, great breakfast! Also, loved the idea of having dogs allowed - there were so many around which really added to the wonderful ambience :)

The family were so friendly and helpful. It was so peaceful and the views were beautiful. The hot tub as well as the pod was spotless, plus you had towels for the bathroom and separate ones for the hot tub.

The property is non-smoking and is located 11 km from Buttermere. Lovely inn in the Lake District, walking distance to some nice and less busy hikes like Barrow. Delicious breakfast menu. Very clean and comfortable room. Hope to stay here again!

The location was perfect , with parking !

Housed in a historic building, the recently renovated Ivy Guest house offers accommodation with water sports facilities and free WiFi. This bed and breakfast features free private parking and full-day security. Lake Windermere is 7.5 km from the bed and breakfast and Derwentwater Lake is 37 km away. Kate and Paul were super helpful and friendly. The festive High Tea was a great addition to the stay.
