It was our stopover between England and Scotland, and it didn't disappoint. Set in a quaint little town, this inn is right in the heart of it all. The rooms were perfectly cozy and comfortable, the staff incredibly welcoming, and the breakfast was generous and delicious. Highly recommended!

Situated in Grasmere, 12 km from Windermere, Victorian House features parking is limited and offered on a first come and first served basis. The rooms come with a flat-screen TV. Tutto estremamente curato, posizione comoda, personale molto gentile e professionale. Super consigliato!

The family-run Ambleside Townhouse is situated in Ambleside, 800 metres from Lake Windermere. It offers en suite rooms and a full English breakfast in the morning. Location, our room was comfortable, shower wonderful. Great breakfast and staff friendly. We’ve been here before and will return again

Located near Orton, Westmorland Hotel Tebay offers en suite accommodation with superfast WiFi access throughout and parking facilities free of charge. we had a very late check in (2:30am) and the staff ensured someone was up to greet us and let us in promptly

Situato a 5 minuti di auto dal lago Bassenthwaite, il Ravenstone Manor è un maniero del 19° secolo immerso in una tenuta di 3 ettari. Very friendly staff, amazing food and lovely setting. We and our dog were made to feel very welcome. We will be back.

We had a wonderful stay at this place. At night it gets completely dark, which made it possible to see so many stars and even constellations, such an amazing experience. The host was very welcoming and came up to show us where everything was and how to use the hot tub. He was kind enough to fix the hot tub for us as well, which we really appreciated. The accommodation itself is very new, with comfy beds, great heating, and excellent high water pressure. Overall, a very comfortable and relaxing stay. Highly recommended.

Cumberland House si trova a Cockermouth, a 22 km da Derwentwater e 46 km da Wasdale, in una zona dove potrete praticare il ciclismo. The location was great. Right in the middle of town, was a great base. The whole House presented excellent very new and fresh. A large residence with plenty of room. We stayed as a family of five , but I could see it bringing comfortable for more people. The touches of family friendly games were adored by my children. A full size Washing Maxhine with a separate dryer is a great addition. Combo washer/dryers are ok but seem to take a lot longer. We had an issue with transport and ended up arriving quite late. Which I am now disappointed I did not get the full experience. NOTE: We arrived almost 7 hours after our scheduled check in. The host was exceptional in accommodating our late arrival. I cannot praise Gillian enough.

La guest house è situata in un edifico storico di per sè molto bello, di cui alcune parti (poche) hanno preservato arredamento e fascino, altre meno come se chi ha ristrutturato inizialmente avesse passato la mano ad altri molto meno attenti. Ci aspettavamo di più per le tariffe applicate, anche se nel complesso è andato tutto bene. La camera era molto piccola, colazione nella norma. In breve, buono ma non ottimo.
