The appartment is well-equipped and peaceful. The bedroom was quiet and cool, which is important for sleeping. The property has an excellent location near the centre of Rye. We could enjoy St Marys church and the Mermaid Inn but also a wonderful early morning walk across the dewy meadows to Winchelsea railway station. The path for that walk was very close to the property. We finished our visit with a brief visit to Camber Sands.
