The family-run Ambleside Townhouse is situated in Ambleside, 800 metres from Lake Windermere. It offers en suite rooms and a full English breakfast in the morning. Excellent location. Was able to purchase early parking and check in. The staff were helpful and welcoming. The hotel was clean, bright, modern and comfortable. The breakfast was excellent, fruit juices, fruit, yogurt, granola and cereals and a great selection of cooked breakfast choices.

Con vista sul giardino, The Coach House - in the countryside prevede un alloggio con terrazza e bollitore elettrico, a circa 31 km da Trough of Bowland. Lovely place to stay - actually the best place we stayed in the UK over our stay of 3 weeks . Spacious , clean and comfortable. It was quiet and the host was very friendly and kind . We felt very welcome. There was meticulously attention to detail and we only wished we could have stayed longer .

Ivy Guest house si trova a Hawkshead e mette a disposizione WiFi gratuito, terrazza, bar e attrezzature per sport acquatici. C’è un parcheggio privato disponibile sul posto. La guest house è situata in un edifico storico di per sè molto bello, di cui alcune parti (poche) hanno preservato arredamento e fascino, altre meno come se chi ha ristrutturato inizialmente avesse passato la mano ad altri molto meno attenti. Ci aspettavamo di più per le tariffe applicate, anche se nel complesso è andato tutto bene. La camera era molto piccola, colazione nella norma. In breve, buono ma non ottimo.
