The hotel was clean, bright, modern and comfortable. The breakfast was excellent, fruit juices, fruit, yogurt, granola and cereals and a great selection of cooked breakfast choices.

A 5-minute drive from Bassenthwaite Lake, Ravenstone Manor is an 19th-century manor house set in 3 hectares of ground. The property is at the foot of Skiddaw, overlooking Bassenthwaite Lake. It offers stone walls and en suite bathrooms. Very friendly staff, amazing food and lovely setting. We and our dog were made to feel very welcome. We will be back.

Lovely place, cozy, furnished and decorated with love. So close to an amazing beach that my pup loved. The kitchen has everything you need and more. Parking in front of the house. The road can be a tad noisy, but it's very quiet at night. If you get up early enough, you'll see the bunnies outside the house. Low tide means massive stretches of sandy beach,perfect for letting your dog just run. The owners are super nice and helpful. Neighbors are quiet. And so many dogs with respectful owners.
