Stables Townhouse B&B se nachází na slavné georgiánské ulici Oxmantown Mall v centru Birru, přímo naproti divadlu Birr Theatre & Arts Centre. We had a little mix up over the night of the booking and the place was full . However I have to say the staff moved mountains and found us a room nearby in Banagher . I was travelling with friends from Italy and this Irish way of sorting out a problem was really impressive . Thank you again to all the staff - hopefully we'll get to stay with you next time !

The accomodation was really beautiful and in a quiet place but really close to where we needed to be. It had all the little luxuries of a home from home, dishwasher, washing machine, toiletries, coffee machine, patios with barbecue facilities, wifi and very spacious. The host was very generous and left bread, butter, fresh eggs and tea and coffee for us on arrival. They even baked a delicious apple cake for us. Definitely recommend and will return.

Ger met us at the door with the key and he gave us mini tour and showed us how things worked. He provided us with goodies (bottle of wine, bread, coffee, an apple pie, and cream which went well with the strawberries we picked up along the way). The cottage is quite central which makes it easy for day-tripping the surroundings areas & we highly recommend Simon Lyons bar down the street - good place to have a Guinness after a day of exploring. Ger was great, he is a wealth of knowledge and willing to help. He can be counted on for suggestions for places to visit and for any issues that may arise.

There was a car park across from the apartment and walking distance to some lovely places to eat or drink. Our host shaun, made sure we had everything we could possibly Need and enabled us to have a really pleasant and comfortable stay. The apartment was clean and spacious.
