Very welcoming and friendly. The location was exactly what I was looking for as I was in transit for one night - easy to find and with enclosed parking. The room was very clean and breakfast was nice. Overall, a very well run hotel.

Dinner in the restaurant was excellent. Very quiet, good bed, lovely breakfast, easy parking, charming young lady, whose name I regretfully had not asked, at the reception.

Bike hire is also free. At first we were excited about the location, right next to piazza Maggiore. But once we entered our suite everything was magical, It was like the room, the walls, the windows could tell you the story of the city. And an excellent buffet breakfast the next morning as well. Thank you for making our stay a precious memory.

Morgagni Suites offers accommodation within 500 metres of the centre of Bologna, with free WiFi, and a kitchen with a fridge, a stovetop and kitchenware. This recently renovated apartment is located 700 metres from MAMbo and 600 metres from Via dell' Indipendenza. When staying at the apartment, guests can use private entrance. It is in a residential section but close to the historical area. The washer is small but efficient and washing pods are provided as is a drying rack. Also provided is coffee pods, tea bags, coffee maker, tea kettle and condiments such as salt and pepper plus sugar. There is a small ice tray in the freezer which was an unexpected surprise. There was JUST enough toilet paper but there is a PAM supermarket close by that sells beer and wine plus of course all types of other supermarket items. The lines can be long and bring your own bags if you don’t want be charged for their cheap ones. The bed is comfortable and the shower is good. The check in and check out was seamless. The breakfast coupons for six euros each was very nice. However, the coupon will only cover one breakfast sandwich so if you want a drink, you will need to pay extra.

Right in the heart of Bologna, Casa San Martino Stays features rooms with free WiFi. It is situated 400 metres from Via dell' Indipendenza and provides a lift. The guest house also offers facilities for disabled guests. The apartment was amazing. It’s very hotel like. The location was great, with good restaurants and bars near by. I would recommend the apartment and would stay there again. Actual, last door for apartments needs better signage.

On our trip to Apulia, we stayed one night at Tenute Torte Diana with two families, 8 people in total. We were so lucky to find such a wonderful place. The hotel is partly located in a 600-year-old building, beautifully renovated and tastefully decorated. The restaurant on site was a real highlight – the pizza was excellent, and the daily special, wild boar roast with vegetables, was simply amazing. The service was extremely friendly and attentive. We will definitely come back!
