Well set in the Nakagyo Ward district of Kyoto, hotel anddoggy Kyoto Nijo is located 1.1 km from Kyoto International Manga Museum, 1.9 km from Kyoto Shigaku Kaikan Conference Hall and 2.6 km from Samurai Kembu Kyoto. The 3-star hotel has air-conditioned rooms with a private bathroom and free WiFi. The property is 600 metres from the city centre and 1 km from Nijo Castle. The room was huge! It has enough room for us to keep the luggage open at all times. The location is amazing, walking distance to do many attractions. It's audio close to a couple of subway stations, so you can travel easily.

There is a public bathhouse located a 10-minute walk away. Nijo Castle is 2.4 km from Gallery Nozawa Inn, while Kyoto International Manga Museum is 2.4 km from the property. Osaka Itami Airport is 36 km away. How can I even start… this stay was so great I can’t even find the words to express it! Morio and his wife are such amazing people…They will do everything they can to accommodate your needs to the fullest! They are always so thoughtful and they always ask you questions about your day to see if they can help you in any way possible to make your day even better. I am currently pregnant and they would always be careful with what they cook for breakfast so that it is nutritious, well cooked, and consistent, from soup to first course, to second course, to dessert and fruits… it was really amazing! Best breakfast I had in Japan! And everyday was something different! Now, the rooms… the rooms are amazing! If you want a true Japanese experience, you will definitely get it here. From the tatami floors, to the futon beds, to the kotatsu table and the beautiful view… everything was perfect. The location is also very good since you are close to the bus station and some amazing traditional restaurants/onsens. All in all, this experience was one I will never forget. And if I ever go back to Kyoto, I will definitely book again a room at their place! Thank you Morio and Yoshiko!

Open from 2016, Four Seasons Hotel Kyoto features a Western-style restaurant and a tea house by a pond in Shakusuien Japanese garden as well as a lounge. Kyoto Station is a 7-minute drive away. Free WiFi is provided throughout the hotel. A different kind of heaven, since we came from the Four Seasons Tokyo at Otemachi. It was the same wonderful experience, but more peaceful and contemplative. The building has only four floors and stretches through a beautiful garden. It offers more intimacy, tranquility, and calm—perfect for a peaceful stay, enjoying massages, reflections, mental rest, and everything that Japanese culture is so well known for.

A 10-minute walk from the JR Kyoto Train Station, Takigawa Ryokan features comfortable Japanese-style rooms with tatami (woven-straw) flooring. A public bath is available, and massages can be requested for relaxation. Guests can borrow Kimono robes for free, but will be charged for dry cleaning costs. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, the sentō was soothing after long walking days, the staff is incredibly nice and helpful.

The air-conditioned accommodation is 2 km from Kyoto Station. The apartment features family rooms as well as facilities for disabled guests. This was our favourite accommodation during the trip. It’s perfect for a small family, close to the station and a convenience store. The house was very clean and tidy. We would definitely come back if we had the chance.

It was really comfortable and it felt like I was staying at home. Watched TV in the living room, rented their bike, and everything was really clean. They also offer pick -up from Miyazu Station which was very convenient. I would stay here again.
