Takumisou1 è una struttura con sala comune a Kiso-fukushima, a 41 km da Takato-joshi Park. Our hosts were amazing. They met us at the train station and catered for our every need. In particular one of our group had an accident and needed medical attention. They called the ambulance and accompanied her to hospital, followed by her husband and the rest of the party in the car. We had food in the restaurant on the first night, also highly recommended. Faultless in a word, they couldn’t have done more

From the moment I arrived I felt welcomed and comfortable. Summer Leaves is a family run place and you immediately feel welcomed by this family. Breakfast was simple but great, a good variety and freshly made (not buffet.) Location is great, quite but close to everything.

This ryokan and the hospitality is something special! It was beyond amazing, and the best experience we had during our 21-day trip in Japan. We felt right at home from the beginning, even though Maki told us she was worried we would not be comfortable seeing its a traditional Japanese house. On the contrary; everything is well thought of and very stylish. You get to experience a real Japanese inn in a relaxed manner. We didn’t have any experience with traditional ryokans, and Maki kindly thought us the ways of putting on a yukata, enjoying a kaiseki meal and using an onsen. She and her mom are beyond kind and caring, and provide you with everything you need (i.e. they send us on our hike with drinks and a bear-bell). The food is truly amazing (and there is a lot!!!) and Maki takes time to explain the origin of the products/dishes and a lot of the food is seasonal and resourced locally. The room was beautiful, with a spectacular view and nice comfy places to sit. The futon beds were very comfortable and on top of that everything was very tidy and clean. We are so thankful we got this opportunity and feel blessed we met them and cute Fukumaki and Kenta and will keep the memories we made here forever in our hearts. WE WILL BE BACK!

Situato a Hakuba, a 8,3 km da Tsugaike Ski Resort, The Bohemians' Shelter prevede un giardino, un parcheggio privato gratuito, una sala comune e un ristorante. What a lovely stay! It felt like home and I met incredible people there. The dinners were great as well and Gaspard is such a kind and nice host. The lodge is located a bit out of town but there is a good shuttle system to take you to town/slopes. I only stayed a couple of nights but it feels like I was there much longer ✨

We had here the most wholesome stay during our 3 weeks trip through Japan. We felt like home here and to think that we found this place by coincidence and since it was quite late, we didn't want to return to Nagano and everything was soo expensive around Togakushi, we found this gem and we were so glad we did! It was truely magical. Thank you Suji, Hanako for the amazing souls you are and the opportunity you give to share this nice house, surrounding and warmth of your home. And the joy of their amazing dog Miro, was the cherry on the top. Namaste!
