Beyond expectations! We were initially doubting to book due to a false comment of bathroom privacy issue, but we took chances and had a lovely stay, bathroom/shower is separated with locking mechanism from both sides. Host is super friendly, and greets/welcomes from Jetty, and even from Airport offers pickup service, which feels like home. We broke a glass accidently and they were cool about it too. Very accommodating, always at service to take us around as historical alleys there don't show up in Maps. We will return for sure.

Milimani Villa-Fully airconditioned Villa mette a disposizione un alloggio con piscina all’aperto, giardino e sala comune a Shela e dispone di WiFi gratuito e vista sulla montagna. The house is wonderful, spacious, luxury and quiet. Bassam is a great host and the staff are excellent too. We had a great time exploring from here or just enjoying doing nothing much at all. It is a bit outside Shela, but not that far and a nice village walk.

The Banda we had was Deep Sea, nestled in the sand dunes with a gorgeous sea view. The decor was so well thought through with little details making such a difference from the weaving of the plants and their water system. To the lovely toiletries, gorgeous robes and swinging day beds. We wanted for nothing.Kizingo is paradise, peaceful and the perfect place to relax, explore, swim and just be. Nikki (the owner) and Pauline, Millicent, Paul, Alan and each of the team work so hard to ensure your stay at Kizingo is exactly when you need. They tune into each of the guests needs and Ensure you have your own Kizingo experience. There were activities available for us to do each day. We particularly loved the walk and bonfire in the dunes at sunset and swimming in the mangroves. Each meal was exceptional, carefully crafted with local ingredients / Catch of the day to ensure no waste. All healthy, tasty and delicious. Kizingo (the corner) is magical. Each night we would lay and look at the stars whilst listening to the gentle waves and nature. Thank you so much team. We will be back.

Situata nella città vecchia di Lamu, a pochi passi dal lungomare e dalla strada principale, la Jannat House offre una piscina all'aperto, un giardino, un ristorante e la connessione Wi-Fi gratuita. Jannat house is very very romantic! The house is built in typical Swahili style and it lies in the centre of Lamu. It is super cosy, beautiful, rustic with many beautiful plants around and an amazing small pool in the centre of the house, next to a bar. The highlight (besides romantic style of the house with many balconies and stairs) were the people working there! Caroline and the rest of the staff were amazing! super cool, helpful, constantly around making sure we have everything we need. They also prepare the freshest food and the breakfasts were great. Thank you so so much fot this beautiful experience! They are also well known in Lamu and well conected and can help you with tips on where to go and how to reach it. Great!! Thanks so much, I hope I see you guys soon!

Pwani House - Lamu Seafront mette a disposizione alloggi a Lamu vicino a Gallery Baraka e Riyadha Mosque. Oltre al WiFi gratuito, la struttura propone una terrazza e una piscina coperta. Everything was amazing! Mr Zion is great! Thank you for everything. The place is very clean and location is the best you can choose. The vew from the balcony ja great. It was my 3rd stay in Lamu and the best accommodation. I will come back to Pwani House for sure 🙂

Il soggiorno è stato perfetto, casa in posizione centrale, molto pulita, arredata con gusto e con una terrazza veramente vivibile dove fare ottime colazioni vista mare. Nyama sempre estremamente gentile e disponibile.
