The place is very quiet, the room is large and the bathroom largest ! The swimming pool is very pleasant even more at night with the blue light.

A wonderful hotel lying in a lush green area, but still very centrally located in Luang Prabang. The property, garden, lake, pool and breakfast area are brand-new & exceeded my expectations. Everything is high quality. The staff is very professional & takes excellent care of their guests. The property is very clean, everything is very well maintained and it´s a true oasis in the heart of Luang Prabang! The rooms have high quality furnishings and include all amenities. The pool is wonderful & big, the sun beds are new and comfy, and there is a bar where you can order drinks. Bikes are in excellent condition & can be used free of charge. I spent 7 nights in one of the bungalows at the Jam Boutique and loved every moment. I highly recommend staying here!

But what makes this place extraordinary is the hospitality, warmth, and genuine care that the team puts into everything they do. Even the small moments show it. One evening at dinner, my plate came with mashed potatoes (which I don’t like). I asked for an empty plate just to separate the food, and while I thought the request had been forgotten, a staff member came back minutes later with a fresh serving of hot rice made just for me! Completely unasked for. That’s the level of thoughtfulness they put into their guests. And then there’s the magic of their special dinners. Every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday they cook something unique… a different dish every time, prepared with love and served not because they have to, but because they want us to connect, share, and feel at home. They don’t even eat with us; it’s all about creating a space where travelers can gather and build friendships. It’s rare to find a hostel with this much heart and soul. Honestly, it feels less like a hostel and more like a family. The only downside? It’s becoming harder to find a bed because everyone wants to stay here! So if you see availability, don’t hesitate! Felt like home. Cyren is the most wonderful host. They have family dinner every Mon, Wed, Fri where they invite everyone for a homecooked veg dinner on the house. Got to meet so many lovely travellers from all over the world at this hostel. Free breakfast every morning, also delicious. Cyren cooks something different every morning and super tasty.

It’s a lovely property run by a couple the whole place is very quiet and feels like you’re just staying at your own parents house. They were both lovely the gentleman helped me with my transportation booking and gave me useful tips for Laos and the lady make sure I had local breakfast every morning before my tours!! They were all delicious and filling! It’s a bit of a walk to the night market surroundings but I actually liked how it was on an ally street away from the main road. There’s everything you could need around and great coffee shops. I felt quite safe as a solo female traveler.

AVANI+ Luang Prabang ligt in het centrum van AVANI Luang Prabang en heeft een centrale tuin en een zwembad van 25 meter. This is a relatively new hotel and everything is well thought out and comfortable. The room was big and bright. The pool is enormous with plenty of seating around it. The location is very convenient for the town as it’s right on the doorstep. Breakfast was fabulous. The staff are helpful and polite. It has a great gym but unfortunately we didn’t have the time to use it.
