Everything was amazing: the food, the amazing service with Jason in charge (best so far in Sri Lanka) and the great guide Charaka who accompanied us to a small trek in the jungle with my 3 years old son. The bungalows are clean, the beds are comfy and there is everything you need - if they don’t have already in the room, you ask and they find a solution! The views are incredible! We spent Christmas there, they went all the way into creating a Christmas tree with lights on the heliport so we could have dinner around it - a special barbecue. The food is also a fair price for the quality you get.

He is a safe driver who showed me many places per day in his comfortable car and she cooked fantastic meals for me with fresh herbs and spices out of their own ‘jungle’. They are a lovely and honest family, the best hosts during my world-travel :-) Also: the place is a gem in the mountains, beautiful decorated and with a clean pool. I felt really at home here.

What a beautiful quest house. It is set away from the busy main road and very peaceful. There is a restaurant, which we did not use, so I can't comment, but there was no noise, apart from some soft music,which was quite nice and chilled. The room was very clean, with clean bedding and towels. Staff were very helpful and Friendly. Loved this Lodge. I could have stayed longer just to enjoy the peacefulness. As we are travelling by bicycle, our bikes were very secure for the night.

Lo staff è stato molto cordiale nonostante non parlasse bene inglese! Colazione fantastica, molto ricca di prodotti tipici!

From the moment we arrived at RNV the owner and staff made us feel at home and really went above and beyond. They took us on a tour of the village showing us the best swimming holes. In the evenings we loved being able to sit next to the river with a fire sharing stories. After months in the tourist areas of the south it was nice to slow down and meet local Sri Lankans living their lives. We will definitely come back!
