The owners were incredibly welcoming and truly made us feel at home. The breakfasts were amazing—fresh bread from their bakery every morning, along with a fruits and omelette. When I mentioned that I love ginger, Modisha even bought me some ginger cookies to try, which was such a special touch. The guest house was very clean, and the atmosphere was peaceful, which we really appreciated. They also offer laundry services and bike rental. As for the minor downsides, there is no hot water, and we did notice a few ants in the bathroom, but it didn’t bother us at all. It’s a bit further from the center, but the quiet surroundings make up for it. Overall, we were really happy with our stay and would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Mirissa.

Bellissima struttura immersa in un giardino, tutto molto curato e pulito. Amila ci ha accolti con tanta gentilezza e simpatia, ci ha preparato ottime colazioni ed è sempre stato disponibile per ogni esigenza nostra e della nostra bambina. Le camere sono molto belle, essenziali e pulite. Consigliatissimo!

Rise was an absolute hit when it comes to accommodation in the Weligama area. The location is perfect, very close to the beach, restaurants, and shops. The room was spotless, the air conditioning worked perfectly, and it was spacious enough for us to comfortably unpack. The bed was large and comfortable, and the linens and towels were clean. Breakfast was perfect as well, several options to choose from and truly excellent coffee that set a positive tone for the day. And of course, we have to mention the restaurant, which serves the most delicious pizza! A few bites and you feel like you’ve been transported straight to sunny Italy. We were genuinely impressed by how incredible the food was. And finally, the most important part: the owners. We felt truly welcomed, they helped us, advised us, and were simply wonderful. I hope I’ll have the chance to return soon. - clean, spacious room with comfortable bed - close to the beach - helpful staff - delicious breakfast with fantastic coffee - room smells great as well as towels and linen - good value for money - wonderful hosts, we felt right at home
