The owner of the hotel even arranged a tv screen for us to watch the Six Nations Rugby so what an incredible place to sit and watch the game looking out onto paradise. Special mentions to Benny and Bekar who made our stay wonderful. Always smiling and making sure we had everything we needed. I read before I booked here that some of the service was not good. I found the complete opposite. It was the perfect balance of attention and delivery. We had one of the sea view rooms where we listened to the sea and watched the surfers morning to night. If you are looking for a quiet room where you cant' hear the roar of the sea I'd book one of the garden rooms.

He has done an exceptional job in remodeling the space w beautiful cabinetry, furniture amd appliances. It’s quiet and spacious, a $4-5 taxi ride from downtown.

We were within walking distance to the beach and restaurants. It was easy to catch a water taxi to go to the main island. Our room was very comfortable and was well equipped. Karen was great to communicate with and responded quickly to any requests. She also made good recommendations for places to eat and water taxis to use. It was a perfect 4 night stay for us!

I have just finished my stay at Jungle Paunch and I really want to go back. Maxi is a great host, be will do everything to make you feel comfortable and help with whatever you need. Inside the cabins you will find the story of how Jungle Paunch was built and it is simply inspiring; a true eco lodge. the surroundings are magnificent and you can hear not only all the sounds of the jungle, but also the waves crashing in the sea very close by. an extraordinary experience, with regular visits from many animals! There is also a higher platform on the property that is excellent for meditating in the early morning and late afternoon! the Paunch area is very quiet, and Bluff beach - one of the owners’ passions - is well worth the visit. Offering views of the sea, La Loma Jungle Lodge and Chocolate Farm is located in Isla Bastimentos, 10 km from Bocas Town. The food was incredible. Every meal was different, had multiple courses and was the best food we ate on our whole trip through Central America! The view was amazing. I will definitely recommend this accommodation to all my friends and family :) I also really enjoyed that all the activities were run by local guides. We learnt a lot about the local culture, wildlife and history of the area and all the guides spoke great English.
