The location was great. Right on the beach and within walking distance from many restaurants, the main square and a main park (Paseo de la Amistad). The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was very clean and was cleaned every day which helped deal with sand that gets everywhere and kept the bed and towels always refreshed. Breakfast was very good.

The owners, Edwin, his wife Gabriela, his brother George and their cute little dog Jagger, are very friendly and will make you feel welcome. The place has an interesting story dating back to the time of the Incas, and maybe even futher back. There are two swimmingpools, lots of sun-chairs and different outdoor spots to relax in and out of the sun. There is one big family room with a kitchen and the other rooms in different sizes all have fridges and comfortable beds. There is also a shared kitchen. Edwin or George often make a fire in the outdoor fireplace in the evenings, creating a cozy outdoor atmosphere under the moon and stars. They will happily show you their «one-match» fire-technique and share interesting stories.

Gran Recreo Hotel - Trujillo - Perú bevindt zich in Trujillo, op 7 minuten lopen van De La Merced Church, en biedt accommodatie met een buitenzwembad, gratis privéparkeren, een fitnesscentrum en een... Er was voldoende opbergruimte in de kamer, een kluisje, fijne badkamer en een goed bed. Redelijk uitgebreid ontbijtbuffet. De locatie was niet ver van de Plaza de Armas. Goed geregeld vervoer vanaf het busstation!

Exceptional customer service, possibly the best I've seen in Latin America. The little continental breakfast you can get served in your room - with cream for coffee, juice, bread and butter, jelly - was a nice little touch. It's very basic, we supplemented with boiled eggs and cream cheese from off the street. Very cozy and very central hotel.

Departamento con HERMOSA VISTA AL PACÍFICO ligt in Huanchaco, op 2 minuten lopen van Playa Huancarute, en is voorzien van aan het strand accommodatie met gratis WiFi. Perfect place to stay on the beach watching the surfers. Olga was so wonderful and made us feel right at home immediately. She is the perfect hostess. Great view from the apartment and the sound of the ocean is great for sleeping. Lots of restaurants steps away. Washing machine was a bonus. Highly recommend!

Olga and her husband (apologies we missed his name!) were fantastic hosts. Friendly and considerate, English speaking, and had lots of local knowledge. The studio is very modern, super clean, and well equipped with pretty much anything you could need. The absolute best part though was the views, loved sitting on the patio watching the sunset and the surfers. The town of Huanchaco is charming and the place was quiet particularly at night - with only the calming sounds of the waves. Great to have the convenience of the laundry facilities, our own kitchenette, and we liked that there were many shelves and storage for our things. We had such a relaxing stay and would highly recommend!

MAGICPERU PET FRiENDLY heeft accommodatie in Trujillo, dicht bij Trujillo City Cathedral en De La Merced Church. Gratis WiFi is beschikbaar en privéparkeren kan worden geregeld tegen een meerprijs. The lady from reception was lovely, she gave me advice and was very kind to let me use the room until late at night when I had my bus, without charging me anything.
