We were so relaxed watching the sunset cuddled up with a blanket. We were provided with the most incredible food - especially the fried trout and soup Judith prepared. Josue took us on a tour around Uros and also took my partner fishing!!! It was just so great. We didn’t want to leave. We also jumped in the lake which was beautiful and clear. A unique and special stay we will remember forever.

We felt the hospitality of Richar's family from the moment we arrived on the island till we said our goodbyes at the dock. The room was very clean, overlooking the island slope. The facilities are basic but functional and are maintained excellently. There's also a terrace to enjoy the view from the outside. All meals provided, lunch, dinner, and breakfast were excellent and served in a nicely decorated dining room. Lunch and dinner were traditional choices of quinoa/corn soup and cheese + vegetables/pasta second course, all with local ingredients. The pancake breakfast was more of a Western style and filling for the day.. Everything is very quiet on the island, even the roosters were heard only from outside. We had a chance to observe daily island life, see people going about their chores while wearing traditional clothes, watch the sunset from the highest point, and learn a bit about local beliefs and traditions. We attended the evening fiesta that was arranged for tourists. However, it mimics all the features, such as music, clothes, and dances, of authentic island celebrations. Knowing some Spanish will significantly help enrich your island experience.

It’s completely quite and you feel alone with only nature and ducks around you. Carlos was such an amazing host, taking the time to explain to me the history of the lake, the culture. I was basically alone with him in the boat having a tour of the island, far from the mass tourism. If you truly want a one of a kind experience, book here and with no hesitation. Specially when I heard many people not having a good experience at lake, because they stayed at Puno or a different place. I feel so fortunate that I was able to have a complete opposite experience. Situated in Puno, Titicaca Aruntawi Lodge Peru offers accommodation with views of the lake, and breakfast included every day. The property is 7 km from the city centre, and right in front of Titicaca lake. The rooms had a beautiful view of the lake and nearby green mountain. The beds were comfortable with an outdoor deck day bed as well. The night was cold, but plenty of blankets kept us warm. The food was fresh and tasty and each family member contributed to our wonderful stay. Transportation was arranged by the host from our hostal by taxi to the port and then a boat took us for a short ride to the hotel within Uros Island.

Mariluz and Henry prepared lunch, dinner and breakfast for us and the food was very good. Henry took us to the temples of Pachamama and Pachatata where we were able to enjoy the views and the peacefulness of the island. The island is so quiet with amazing views that 24 hours felt way too short! We were also able to discuss with Mariluz and Henry to understand the life on the island, which was much appreciated and separates this experience from a regular hotel. Overall highly recommend to spend a night or more!

Rates at this all-inclusive property include breakfast, lunch and dinner. It was amazing, the food, the room, the tour around the Uros, Cesar and his family are amazing. I recommend it 100%, such a good experience. They helped us to organize a tour to Taquile for the next day, and it was super nice. They told us if we wanted to use the canoe for free, however we didnt use it, and we relaxed at the cabin for the evenning.

It was better then aspected, clean with a lots of character, amazing view, best family ever, warm, ready to help anytime, Delia is an incredible host and cook, Wilber her husband transported us back and forth to any destination we needed to be. They organized everything for you. I highly recommend to anyone is going there.
