Casa Maramureșeană - Refugiu Tradițional Maramureșean Cazare de Poveste în Natură lângă pârâu Loc de joaca pentru Copii Parcare Foișor si trova a Marga e offre una terrazza. This place is very nice. Really calm place in the middle of nature. We were completely alone in the area, So it was excellent. Also dog friendly. The owners were super nice and hospitable. Definitely recommend.

We spent a wonderful 2-night stay in Văliug and were truly impressed by every aspect of the experience. The apartment was spotless, fully equipped with everything we needed, and beautifully arranged with an incredible attention to detail — from the cozy furnishings to the little thoughtful touches that made it feel like home. The hosts were exceptionally warm and welcoming, going above and beyond to make us (and our dog!) feel comfortable. Their hospitality made a real difference and added a personal touch to our stay. One of the highlights was the peaceful sound of the Bârzava River flowing nearby. As people coming from the city, this natural soundtrack was incredibly soothing and helped us truly unwind. A perfect place to recharge, reconnect with nature, and enjoy genuine hospitality — we’ll definitely be back!
