They were super accommodating and went out of their way to make our stay as pleasant as it could possibly be! For that alone, I will give them 5 stars. Beyond that, the hotel is located in one of the most idyllic parts of the Swedish archipelago, it was a famous artist community at the turn of the century. There is lots to see, or you can just relax and take the views from the hotel. Recommend a room with a view! The restaurant goes out of its way to serve inventive dishes that are quite delicious. The breakfast buffet is also one of the best I've had. I will be back! Thank you so much!

The area is popular for hiking and cycling, and bike hire is available at Bull-August gård vandrarhem/hostel. Even while fully booked, it felt very peaceful. We spent lots of time in the central garden/yard, where there are places to sit and some things for kids to do. The bathrooms were nice - clean, well equipped, adequate for number of guests. Our bedroom was clean and comfortable. It felt family run. They were helpful with queries beforehand. Breakfast was very good.

We went for several nights in the freezing winter so carried all our own food and supplies. The wood burning stove kept us very warm and we spent our time reading books and enjoying the gorgeous scenery. Sanna was highly responsive to and patient with our many inquiries before and during our stay.

Located less than 5 minutes’ walk away, the Nynäshamn train station offers a regular commuter train service to the Stockholm city centre. I simply loved everything. Fantastic staff, location, room, just everything. Great 2-day base of operations for my mission outside Nynäshamn town. Will definitely return.
