A free shuttle runs to/from Mae Hong Son Airport and Bus Station. Fabulous resort in the jungle and rice paddy. Very helpful staff, great villa rooms with lovely swimming pool tiled bathrooms. The food is fantastic with many northern dishes 😋 and good value. We are staying extra nights as so good

This property offers access to a terrace, free private parking and free WiFi. Guests can make use of the outdoor fireplace or the picnic area, or enjoy views of the lake and river. Beautiful room and outstanding view from the balcony. Highly recommend!

Located 45 km from Grand Canyon Chiang Mai, hueankwankao เฮือนขวัญข้าว offers air-conditioned accommodation with a terrace. Featuring full-day security, this property also provides guests with a picnic area. Every room comes with a balcony with views of the mountain. We needed a reset and this was the perfect location to slow down. Run by a lovely family with the cutest dogs. Sunset over the rice paddies was magical. Comfy bed and clean buildings. Delicious, well priced dinner which you can have at your room. Breakfast was superb too (we had rice soup and custard sticky rice). Good mosquito screens so you can have the shutters open. Great place to stay if you’re going to Doi Inthanon.

We had both little houses for the four of us. After settling in we took a walk around the small hill town and enjoyed seeing folks just doing what they always do rather than reacting to a tourist van bringing in customers. Both homes were pristine; beds were super comfy with lots of extra blankets for the chilly night. And the views! Both houses (but especially the one down the hill) had the perfect 'mist rising over the fields' views and vibes. Hosts were very friendly but you'll need google translate. I see this place as a 10 for what it means to provide, it isn't luxury but it's real.

The pillows and bed were excellent — my partner is quite particular about sleeping comfort, and even he was impressed, which says a lot! The welcome snacks were such a lovely touch — we enjoyed them so much that we were delighted to find out they were available for purchase, so we took some home with us! The staff were consistently friendly and helpful, always ready to assist with anything we needed.

The family who runs the place are the sweetest. I was initially supposed to stay for 3 nights but extended it for 3 nights more. Everyone I met also had the same situation cause they loved the place and the family so much. I had a lovely time during New Year’s Eve with the family. This was one of the best new years I ever had. Every night sitting with the family by the fire place was one of the highlights of my stay. We also cooked together one of the nights cause they wanted to try traditional Turkish food. They are very open minded and super nice people. If you want to enjoy nature and experience Thai culture this is a place to stay. I think I will be back at a certain point.

Wonderful, large, clean room, tastefully decorated and with nice bathroom facilities. Very comfortable bed, had the best night's sleep so far. Set in beautiful grounds. A lovely area outside to relax and where breakfast is served - which was delicious. We loved the peaceful area and would definitely return, should we be in the area again. Thoroughly recommend.
