The inn was in the ideal location with a short walk to the main shops , restaurants etc. The decor was amazing and was like stepping back in time with antiques all over the house . Arcata-Eureka Airport is 47 km away. It was a super cute, comfortable, very clean, cozy and actually quite luxurious cabin! We had a lovely one night there. It is very quiet and peaceful. Also, it is super close to main attractions in the redwood national and state park like e.g. fern canyon! The staff is very helpful and friendly! And as I already mentioned it was suuuper clean, I have rarely seen such a clean shower! They also provide a little choice of tea and coffee which is super cute. The only thing not 100% perfect was the WiFi connection if you were in a cabin a bit off the office building. I guess, it is not that bad because you are on holiday and shouldn’t spend much time on your phone/laptop. But still, if you need to do some work (what you shouldn’t do as you are on holiday) or you want to watch a movie then it can be a bit annoying as things take ages to load. But just as I said, you can also enjoy your time just reading or playing board games so it really was not that big of a deal!!

Everything was very clean inside. The central location in Orick is great. There is always a friendly and helpful contact for questions and concerns.

The apartment, on top of the cliff overlooking the ocean, close enough to hear the roaring of the waves throughout the night. The footpath down to the beach is a great bonus, a bit of a workout for me, but enjoyed the walk down and up again each day. The apartment is well equipped, fridge freezer, washing machine and dryer, dishwasher. Lots of plug sockets. Plenty of towels, shower gel etc Lovely bedrooms, plenty of hanging space. Great watching the sunset, then the stars in the sky from the hot tub.
