Originally, we came to this area for one night to relax from the hustle and bustle of Saigon, but we enjoyed it so much that we ended up staying for two nights. The place is truly magical, and you will hardly see any tourists here—only kind, smiling local people and plenty of fruit, especially coconuts. Thuan is a very friendly and caring person. He speaks perfect English, which really helped us to get at least a glimpse of the local culture and way of life, especially during a private trip on the Mekong River, which I highly recommend. The next day, we went on a bike ride and visited a local coconut processing workshop (nothing goes to waste here). One of the most unforgettable moments was when we visited local school children—it was an incredible experience that touched our hearts. Whenever we were hungry, his sister Thuy cooked us excellent Pho or fried spring rolls at her restaurant. We are glad we chose this place and we hope to return here in the future. We were looking for a true Mekong experience, to understand how people live in a river delta and thrive off of it, and found that here, picking fruit off trees, fishing, cooking, and creating tools out of nature. The family is incredibly kind and helpful, and the dogs and cats are cute, and the other travelers were great company. Wouldn’t want to have stayed anywhere else in the Mekong!

Furthermore the breakfast was great and you could lend bicycles for free. The owner was extremely nice and would help us with booking a bus to Saigon and finding beautiful bicycle routes for us. Would definitely recommend!!!

Tutto, un’esperienza assolutamente indimenticabile. Il posto è pazzesco ci si arriva tramite un piccolo battello e poi una piccola camminata. Si è completamente immersi nella natura, Tao e la sua famiglia sono molto gentili e lei parla molto bene inglese. Abbiamo noleggiato delle bici presso la struttura per poco più di 1 € per l’intero soggiorno che ci hanno consentito di girare le due isole. Abbiamo cenato presso la struttura cibo buono ed economico. Esperienza diversa dal solito hotel, sicuramente indimenticabile. Se si è in cerca di comfort e si vuole stare in un centro abitato questo posto non è indicato ma se volete evadere dal caos del traffico e immergervi un po’ nella natura questo posto è super 👍🏻

We loved the authenticity of this place, so much so that we stayed 3 days instead of the 1 which we had planned. My husband didn't want to stop originally in Ben Tre and woke up the morning after suggesting we stayed extra :D You'll be surrounded by nature, peace, the most kind Vietnamese family and make sure you speak with Chi about going to the market and cooking with her family. It was something we also hadn't planned because we wanted to skip the tourist traps and it felt like going around Ben Tre with a friend. Bike available for free, Vietnamese coffee and delicious tea available during the day for a very small fee so you don't need to go out if you don't want to. We booked in the afternoon and Chi messaged me right away to organize a transfer from the bus station to the homestay - very smooth! Thank you Chi and your family and friends for making us feel at home, we'll remember the time on the hammocks once we're back to busy London!

They take care of their guests just like family, and the whole place truly feels like home. The house is comfortable, airy, and clean, with everything you need for a short stay, including a proper kitchen. I love the nostalgic interior, and the garden is so calming. They even offer a morning yoga session, which makes a huge difference. Short distance from local wet market, and near to the main bridge Cau Rach Mieu. I’m definitely coming back and I’ll bring my family with me next time.

Abbiamo trascorso 3 meravigliosi giorni presso lo stupendo MOCAY farmstay. Ci hanno trattato con tutti i riguardi possibili. Ci hanno preparato fantastici pranzi e cene con vera cucina casalinga. Ci hanno portato in giro nei dintorni e hanno usato tutte le gentilezze possibili e immaginabili. Il giardino è un luogo magico dove si possono passare ore a trovare nuove piante, fiori, farfalle, uccelli. Il silenzio della notte è un concerto di suoni di piccoli animali. Non sappiamo come ringraziarvi per averci trattato in modo così speciale. Da notare che hanno usato attenzione assistendoci anche per l'arrivo e la partenza. Non dimenticheremo mai questo soggiorno.

This place is perfect to relax after HCMC. You get a rich breakfast (soup or eggs, tea, fruits) in a garden terrace with lots of flora. There is also a friendly doggy and a cat. Room was nice and clean. They offer bike/motorbike rental service to explore the area. They are also selling tours if you are into that but the best thing overall are the owners who promptly took care of every little inconveniences and overall were very helpfull and sweet. Limited english but you get in touch with their english speaking daughter via phone. She helped me to book a bus yay!
