Being an Equity Punk member for almost 5 years, a stay at the Doghouse was definitely on my bucket list ever since I heard of its existence. So when my boyfriend and I booked tickets to a concert in Manchester a few days before my birthday, I knew exactly where I wanted to stay. Not only did the hotel and room exceeded our expectations, they also left a small gift and note for my birthday which I really appreciated. I especially loved all the small details in the room and around the hotel. Left most of them out of the pictures I added here, so you can find out yourself. But of course the shower beer and record player didn't disappoint. And the bed was one of the best beds we ever slept in! The room also has a BrewDog minibar with a great variety of beverages (both alcoholic as non-alcoholic) and also a great choice of snacks. In the room you will find a sort of pamphlet with all the drinks, snacks and BrewDog gadgets on it and how much they cost. So that you will not be faced with any surprises. Also great location! Little more than 10 minutes walk to Piccadilly Station, which will take you directly to the airport. And close to a lot of sights and activities in the city. Definitely want to stay here again! And want to try their location in Edinburgh as well!

It feels like a lux boutique hotel in the lakes yet it’s not a short drive from MCR city centre. Although it feels quite formal the staff are very relaxed and polite. We actually booked breakfast but as the bed and the room were so comfortable we didn’t make it! This will be my new go to when I need a quick break from my hectic MCR life.

short walk to the train station that has easy access to the airport and into the city center. The room was charming and clean. good water pressure too. We ordered a full English breakfast for the morning that was delicious. the staff were very nice and accommodating. Wifi was good too.

I particularly liked the location as I lived in Cheadle between age 2 and 16 (nearly 60 years ago!) Until I arrived I did not know that the hotel is located on the site of the secondary school I attended. As a former plane spotter and aviation enthusiast I particularly enjoyed monitoring the aircraft approaches to Mancheter Airport - I appreciate that this could be considered a negative factor by some guests.

It’s a lovely place. The hosts were kind and personable. The breakfast was amazing—one of the best we have had in the last month in England. The breakfast area was really comfortable. Our room was very nice. The hosts booked our taxi to the airport for us, which was a big help. It was a great place to stay.
