Breakfast was wonderful. Rooms were clean and cozy. Ample parking right behind the hotel and an easy walk to the center of town. Our room also afforded a lovely view of the lake. The front on the hotel has a lovely seating area and garden where my wife and I had an evening drink from the hotel's honesty bar (well-stocked).

The property is outside Keswick, but in a way, that makes it all the better--quieter. The outside patio offers a nice view and it's fun to enjoy a drink there and relax. The triple room we had offered a patio (albeit on the driveway). Dinner (we didn't eat there) smelled delicious, and breakfast was plentiful, though I would have liked less watered down coffee. As a larger facility, you don't have to order breakfast the night before.

Absolutely lovely place to stay. The recent renovations are fab - done to a really high standard and very stylish. Our room was extremely comfortable and we very much enjoyed the extra touch of homemade cookies. Excellent location - just two minutes walk into the centre or five minutes to the lake. Breakfast was delicious and a great choice of menu. The homemade granola and yoghurt was amazing! Staff were all lovely, friendly and helpful. I’d definitely recommend this place and wouldn’t hesitate to stay again.

I don’t have words to describe how great Tracy, the owner, is! I felt at home, she treats you like a mum and is always ready to help! Everything perfect, the room, the location close to the city center, but above all the breakfast! Never had such a luxurious breakfast in my life! A big fruit tray, cereals, milk, coffee, porridge, yogurt, sausages, eggs, bacon, vegetables…My stay was simply perfect! And Tracy is too lovely!!

A fantastic place to stay at.. the staff were very friendly and the facilities had been recently upgraged. The breakfast were everything that we could want. The location is great and so close to town.we were able to park our car onsite and free. Great views over the golf course and mountains in the background. There is a bar available to get both alcohol and non alcoholic drinks during the day and evening.

Location was great, I had the whole hostel to myself (which was a bit strange at first), but they made the check in seamless when I booked last minute. The hostel was very tidy, the beds comfortable and the staff very accommodating and friendly. There was great parking and just a quick walk into the downtown. Make sure you bring your own towel and warm clothes- gets a bit chilly in the evenings.
