We and the children enjoyed the atmosphere of the real Swiss countryside, away from the crowds of the city. Mrs. Paula Natalia, the owner of the house, is very respectful. But you must be careful with children and not cause disturbance to local residents. The place is strategic because it is located between the city of Interlaken and the tourist village of Grindelwald and Lautabrunnen. It's close to all tourist places.

Some rooms at the property have a balcony with a river view. We particularly liked the guest lounge with a microwave and kettle where we could relax with a takeaway in the evening. Breakfast was excellent, continental plus scrambled egg for long stay guests. The walk to the station (Interlaken Ost) is along the river and very enjoyable.

Chalet Maria Interlaken is a traditional Swiss chalet with a garden, located in the heart of Interlaken. The apartment is only 250 meters away from the nearest train station and other public transport. Marco is friendly and helpful, we are lucky to have early check-in and we get everything we need in the room. The view seeing from inside is beyond description We had a wonderful stay in Interlaken!

Each unit is fully fitted with a washing machine, a flat-screen TV, a sofa and wardrobe. A dishwasher and oven are also featured, as well as a coffee machine and a kettle. Location is perfect and free parking was available. Also Bus stop was just next building. Supermarket was also next the buss stop. The view was fantastic. And the Host was so friendly and nice.
