Mohamed was a truly outstanding host, and he made my time in Abu Simbel extraordinarily memorable. He answered every question I had and went above and beyond to make arrangements for me. One of the best hosts I’ve ever had anywhere.

Mohammed was a very great host, we enjoyed our time here. Terrace view was perfect, car transfers were arranged even though we arrived past midnight. We have large luggages which Mohammed arranged for guys to carry for us from the Jetty to the homestay, that helped as there were many stairs. Before/After crossing the river though, you may have to figure out how to carry up the rest of the stairs on your own. Just a point to note as no review mentioned this. Still, overall experience was great!

I was a lone female traveller, looking for tranquility in a touristic town with magnificent historic monuments! The guesthouse was perfectly located in front of the lake with birds flying all around, with the great view on sunset, and Ioved it. I was welcomed by a lovely family and enjoyed spending time with them on the balcony. Mr. Adel was always helpful and provided transportation whenever I requested, and kindly came up with options for activities, restaurants etc according to my budgets limits. It was beautiful 2 days, and would definitely recommend staying there.

All units at the guest house feature air conditioning and a wardrobe. Very kind and attentive staff. Convenient location next to ferry to mainland. Excellent view of the river, boats, corniche, sofitel cataract hotel. Reasonably priced laundry service. Powerful air conditioner and comfortable bed. Refrigerator in room was a welcome touch and I really enjoyed sitting on my terrace watching the boats on the nile. Rawia and her staff will do all they can to ensure you enjoy your stay as much as I did.

The room smelled so good and was very clean. You could feel the attention of the hotel from many small aspects. The large windows in the room open to the first row of river views, and there is also a personal balcony where you can sit and enjoy the Nile River on your own pace. The hotel is in a great location. They have friendly staff, comfortable air conditioning, and beautiful public spaces. It is ideal for a relaxing vacation that lasts for a few days. Sadly, our trip was too short so we are not able to stay longer. The food in their restaurant is delicious and at a good price, and the fish is fresh caught from the Nile River that morning. The hotel assisted me in finding someone who could braid my hair, the local lady did it exceptionally well, making the braiding hair unique and beautiful. It was a very interesting experience to braid the entire hair. After I came back to Taiwan, many people asked me where I got my hair braided like this. On my subsequent trip to other parts of Egypt, many Nubians came to say hello to me because of my hair, which is so fun. I will definitely come to this hotel for a vacation if I visit Egypt again. The memories of the Nubian Village are unforgettable. All in all, the hotel is worth to stay.
