Outdoor seating is also available at Harbourside Apartment No 1. Spotlessly clean, well furnished and stocked with everything you could need. Lovely views across the water and super close to everything. Parking was very easy and check in and out was simple. Highly recommend!

The bed and breakfast features family rooms. The breakfast was fantastik, well preparered and delicious and fresh and plenty. Hosts very friendly and helpful with advice what to visit on the island. Outdoor seating is also available at the holiday home. Everything. Loved the quiet. The pictures don't do the place justice. Such peace and tranquility. The private bay is stunning. A nice wander down to the local is fun. Just what we were looking for. Didn't want to leave.

The location is wonderful with red deer visiting and fabulous views to the Treshnish Isles and Staffa within a few minutes stroll.

Outdoor seating is also available at the holiday home. Location was excellent. The living room was upstairs to maximise the views of the sound of Mull…. Watching boats and the airstrip in front was fantastic, watching small aircraft and helicopters land/ take off. This was a self catering house which was well equipped and extremely modern. It was dog friendly and spacious throughout. 4 massive bedrooms with one on-suite and a dressing room. Our neighbours were 3 heilan coos which was lovely as the downstairs was full length windows for light and views.

The property is non-smoking and is situated 1.8 km from Iona Abbey. On arrival in Iona, we were met from the ferry by our lovely hosts Jamie and his mother Kate. They could not have been more welcoming, driving us to the lovely Machair House, their tranquilly situated family home at the back of the island, surrounded by sheep and lambs grazing happily against the backdrop of the flower strewn Machair and the lulling waves of The Bay at the Back of the Ocean. Machair House is as warm and welcoming as its hosts, with a splendid sunroom, relaxing sitting room, very comfortable bedrooms, and well-equipped kitchen. I happened to be celebrating a special birthday during my stay on Iona, and our hosts made it even more special by providing a huge birthday balloon and a bottle of fizz! We spent two wonderful weeks in Iona staying at Machair House.How perfect, after a day-out exploring the island, to return to this cosy and much-loved haven.
