From the impeccable cleanliness, friendly owner to the array of little touches, e.g. Fridge in the room, extension lead both sides of the bed to ensure enough sockets, cold water carafe to a mini box of chocolates. Shampoo and body wash provided as well as a kettle with tea and coffee. Lastly, the bed was very comfortable. The neighbourhood has LOTS of restaurants including a fab award winning fish and chip restaurant over the road (Coleman's) In addition, it's 5 minutes from the sea front and a lovely park. Last but not least, the metro is 8 mins walk away and a bus into Sunderland is literally 1 minute away. For bargain hunters with a car, there is a Barbour factory shop with great reductions 10 minutes away.
