Beautiful, historical hotel in the forest. Very, very good food: great choise for breakfast and really delicious dinners in the evening. Nice pool and great sauna area in the forest. The location is wonderful, inside the nature with great view on the mountain.

The property is really clean, the facilities are wonderful. The variation of food is great. The staffs are exceptional friendly and helpful and really welcoming. I got a wonderful surprise..I didn’t expect it that they’re really thoughtful like that. I booked this getaway to enjoy “me” time for my birthday and this was really a better than I could imagine and ask for :)

Bodenmais is a fantastic location, a bigger resort village but with absolute quiet day and night. At LuCA Hotel, which is under new management, there is swimming pool and sauna (though we didn’t use it). The front desk also gives out free passes to local attractions, for example the ski lift. Perhaps the best part of our stay was the restaurant, where a resident Italian chef makes very good homey and authentic Italian food. Rooms are big and beds are comfortable.
