First, the owner, Mr. Rolf, is very friendly and helpful. He is very kind. He welcomed us when we arrive and he was always there or easy to contact if needed. The facility is very nice and clean. Big rooms with open space at the back where you can dine and relax. Complete facility, it feels like home. I will go back to them when I go to Germany. Thank you very much Mr. Rolf and your family.

This is an excellent hotel. Parking available (14 euros). The rooms are fantastic. But I must give the best rewards to the stuff. They were amazing. There is a pool (1,3 m deep) excellent for the kids. The rooms clean and well equipped. I think the breakfast was a little expensive but kids were for free, so it was perfect.

A super hotel near the center, with underground parking for 21€ per day. After checking out of the room, we were able to explore the city and pick up our car, as we had arrived the previous evening at 17:00 and could use the parking until 17:00 the next day. If you’re staying in Nürnberg (an ideal hub city from which to launch day trips in every direction), then take it from a repeat guest: this is your optimal choice of accommodation: five-star quality at a surprisingly reasonable price. This was my second stay at this Sheraton Carlton, and it was every bit as satisfying as my first. The location is note-perfect: right by the main train station, close to top sights such as the Germanisches Nationalmuseum and the Verkehrsmuseum, and with a post office for mailing home souvenir parcels just off to the other side of the Hauptbahnhof. The rooms are immaculately clean, comfortably laid out with cozy carpeting (so much preferable to rock-hard tile or hardwood flooring), spacious, yet boasting all of the amenities that one could ever want, from tea-making facilities and a mini-fridge to a nicely sized balcony. Breakfast here is outstanding, featuring gourmet-quality scrambled eggs, bacon, and the delicious Röstla roasted sausages for which the city is renowned, and which are made better in Nürnberg than in any other city. The lightning-fast laundry service returns clothing the very same day. The wonderfully friendly and courteous staff treat backpacking travellers just as well as they do their upscale clientele. I was even granted an early check in (a rare treat at a German hotel in the summer). The opportunity to bed down again at this heavenly hotel was a determining factor in my decision to return to Nürnberg this year rather than use a different city as a base, and I’m glad that I did; indeed, I hope to return Nürnberg again someday, and when I do, I wouldn’t even dream of staying anywhere else.

The property itself was wonderful. If I have to pick two characteristics I absolutely loved, I’d say the swimming pool, my daughter perused profusely. And the winter garden with birds chirping. Unexpected and wonderful.

the hotel was clean. The swimming pool was good for the kids. we had booked this room since it was close to play mobil park. Hotel very easy reachable with Autobahn but not so easy with public transport.
