We arrived after the hotel restaurant had closed. We phoned reception on the way to let them know we would be late. They kept some food warm for us; when we arrived, the owner (?) set a little table for us and served us a delicious 3 course vegetarian meal, chatting good-humouredly all the time. Great customer service! Breakfast was very generous (and delicious). Hotel location is excellent: very close to central La Bourboule.

Hotel Le Panorama is in a peaceful setting, just 200 metres from the beautiful spa town of Mont-Dore. It has a heated indoor swimming pool and panoramic views.

Although a little dated, this hotel was great. Ultra clean, lovely hosts, and a bonus was the excellent indoor swimming pool. Beautiful location. Historic village.
