clean, quiet, modern facilities, excellent breakfast choices. only 1,020 paces from the airport. ( yes I did count them) but I didn’t hear the planes. ten minute walk to the marina and all the restaurants there. bus stop across the road to the Malecón and old Vallarta.

The location was amazing. Having a semi private courtyard (shared with some other rooms) and access to a pool so close to the bustling Malecon and Zona Romantica neighbourhoods was a treat. The rooms are well equipped with soundproofing materials and totally blocked the sounds from the Malecon strip. I am a light sleeper but slept restfully each night. The owner made himself available to answer any questions we had and was super friendly. The owner turned his grandparents old villa into this accommodation and you can see the passion he has for his work and his family. If we find ourselves back in Puerto Vallarta - we will be staying here again 100%

The grounds are beautiful. So well done. Quiet place overall, away from the hustle and bustle just a few blocks away. Views are fantastic. Restaurant pretty tasty too and the pool side service and attention was great! Our unit, Verde, was huge! Loved that. Pretty much like a 2bd apartment!

I had high expectations for this property based on the photos and the hotel did not disappoint. The rooms are finished to a very high standard, the bed was comfortable and the bathroom excellent. My room had direct access to the pool and the class windows provided all the privacy needed. The included breakfast was adequate although pastries are available at minimal cost. I would recommend Casa Maria and will come back.

I stayed here for just one night last year, and loved it so much that I came back this year for 4 nights. My favourite part is how calm and peaceful it is - I was here to work on some writing, and it was really quiet and tranquil. My apartment was huge and had everything I needed - kitchen, huge TV, lovely balcony, very comfortable bed. The pool is huge which is great if you love to swim, and the gardens are just beautiful - I really enjoyed watching the birds and lizards and hummingbirds. The food is also excellent (the shrimp quesadillas are out of this world), which is lucky because there isn't really anywhere good to eat nearby that isn't an expensive tourist trap - just eat here if you can! Staff are really friendly too. It really is an escape - it's in a very quiet neighbourhood and you won't want to leave!

Enjoyed the clean swimming pool and spacious rooms and comfortable bed. Also close to many restaurants and convenience and grocery stores within walking distance. We had a car and were happy with the gated parking. There was a full sized fridge to store our Costco run perishables in before returning home.

Very traditional and rustic property, in Mexican style. Lots of palm trees to keep the place fresh and green, with direct access to the beach and 6 swimming pools. Nice apartment.

The room was very comfortable with a beautiful view. It was nice to have access to the beach and a swimming pool when it is so hot and humid. There is also decent access to restaurants in walking distance
