Antonio and Diogo were excellent and very accommodating from start to finish. The house and location were perfect- the pictures don't do it justice. Our family loved every minute of our stay and made sure to find time throughout the week to just enjoy the pool and the views- morning, afternoon and night. It was nice being off and away from the more concentrated areas of Madeira. Highly recommend Villa Margarida. We look forward to our next visit!

We had a fantastic stay at this villa surrounded by beautiful banana plantations. The peaceful setting and breathtaking views made it a truly relaxing getaway. The villa is extremely spacious and well-equipped, leaving nothing to be desired. A particularly convenient feature was the garage within the house. We felt very comfortable throughout our stay!

This place was really special. It was a traditional house located in a quiet rural location. As guests, we could use the entire property, including the pool and the garden with fruit trees. A terrace, a hammock and a grill were also available for relaxation. We really relaxed here and soaked up the wonderful atmosphere of the island. The host was warm, responded very quickly to our questions and helped us with everything. If I were to return to Madeira in the future, I would book the property again without hesitation.

The house is phenomenal. The place is exactly listed in the photos. Everything was great and we had a great stay. Everything was clean and spotless. There's also a gate to the house which made it very secure. The address of the place does not show up in googlemaps so make sure to save the GPS coordinates. I would also strongly recommend having a car to drive up here as it's at the top of the hill. The roads are narrow and steep at times but that's the tradeoff to get a nice location and view.

The property is very spacious, with good furniture, fantastic view and warm swimming pool. There is more than enough space for 2 cars in the drive way. The kitchen is fully equipped. The view from the balconies is just mind-blowing. Overall house design and floors planning is fantastic. Every room has it’s own bathroom. Kary was super helpful with good communication

The sea view was absolutely incredible, as was the infinity pool, the location is perfect for watching the sun set. The comprehensive breakfast each morning was great. Proximity to the Cascata dos Anjos waterfall and Ponta do Sol is great. The hotel manager was very accommodating and keen to help, and the rooms are cleaned super quickly it's usually already made by the time we finish breakfast. Hotel is quiet so it feels very peaceful and spacious. Hot tub by pool is lovely for sun set.

Villa is huge and well equipment. You have everything there what you need. (Even slippers and hiking sticks!) You can enjoy the sun and take a dip in an amazing outdoor swimming pool with the incredible view of the village and the ocean. The view is just breathtaking. Ana’s place has a private big parking in front of the house. You have to drive down from the main street, just be careful because GPS was leading us around, from the other side throughout a narrow banana trees alley where you can't pass😅

Friendly staff, clean and cosy sea view room. The indoor swimming pool and sauna facilities were clean and available to use - which I did! Bar staff was friendly. Dinner and breakfast buffet were solid nice meal options, great quality for value.

A charming and welcoming place for those whose emphasis is on nature rather than luxury. The swimming pool was big enough to swim in circles :) The blooming gardens were a real pleasure and the scenery was fantastic. Exceptionally clean with all we needed. The access by car was a little challenging but became part of the charm of Casas Tipicas Lovely helpful and welcoming hosts. Thank you to Leo and Amnon

Perfect location with a beautiful view, large rooms, comfortable beds, very clean. A quiet neighborhood. Tasty breakfast but almost every day the same. You can order pancakes or an omelette with toppings. The hotel has a small gym, an indoor swimming pool and sauna, and a terrace on the top for sunbathing. Friendly and helpful staff. You could leave your car in the underground car-park for free. The evening with Madeira dances was very nice. There are bars and restaurants around the corner.
