Our stay at Palm Gardens was fantastic, from the moment the owner - Thongbai - picked us up from the Bus Stop to the moment she waved us off with the packed lunches she had made for us. The Villas are simple and beautiful, each looking out onto the inviting pool. They are 100m from a fantastic white strand beach stretching for miles in either direction with hardly on soul around. Nearby are a number of beach bars and restaurants - the I-Talay wines out for me, but all are welcoming and cheap. And you can even get your laundry done nearby. We went for the breakfast option which Thongbai made for us each day. She bakes her own bread - you have to try it. Overall a great experience for an unbeatable price

Nice, big and clean bungalow apartment located in a stunning garden at only 3 minutes walk from the beach. The house has all the things you need for a nice stay. Also it has a big balcony with table and swimming pool. 7 eleven is at 5 minutes driving. Many restaurants around. The staff was super nice and friendly. Pay attention that the location on Booking.com is wrong, on Google maps it's correct.

Really lovely and well designed hotel in quiet Ban Krut, practically on the beach, with a nice swimming pool, too. The sun rise over the beach through the palm trees is spectacular, viewed from the bed, if you're up at that time in the morning. There's not much to do in Ban Krut except to stroll on the lovely 11k long beach, visit, what must be one of the top temples in Thailand with a giant golden Buddha looking out to sea, and eat in one of the many seafood places that line the beach. There's also a very colourful fishing village, and some riverside cafes are being developed. This lack of activity and laid-back vibe was perfect for us before hitting the bright lights of Bangkok once more. We took lots of long walks. The staff were very nice, the rooms, large, the beds comfortable, the shower hot, the bathrooms spotless and modern. and they even supplied hair conditioner! There was a fridge, kettle, and sachets of coffee in our room. Everything was spotless and hygienic. The hotel is also a short distance from Ban Krut train station, and the staff very kindly took us there in their motorcycle tuktuk for free.

Absolutely perfect stay. Great location a little bit off the main road - free bikes to get you to and from the shops/restaurants. Free beach chairs just across the road. Rooms were clean and comfy with great Aircon and WiFi. Staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful and offered us lifts to and from the bus station. Could not recommend this place highly enough!

It is very close to the beach. There are very good seafood restaurants available by foot. Also close by is a seven eleven with ATM and laundry machines. All staff is very kind and some staff have excellent English. The facility is well kept.
