Plus they’ve got bottles of wine and glasses available in the pool/spa area at a good price offered via an honour system. A nice idea! Otherwise the hotel offered excellent food (loved the veggie burger) had super nice staff and dining on the terrace for dinner and breakfast was truly lovely! Plus a really excellent breakfast selection! <3 Kaiserschmarren included!! Plus a room upgrade. So absolutely a top location!

Overlooking the surrounding vineyards, the 4-star hotel Weinrefugium Brolli is located 5 km from the centre of Gamlitz. We only stayed one night at Weinrefugium Brolli on our way down to Croatia, but that was more than enough to experience the charm and warmth of this lovely hotel. From the moment we arrived, the hospitality was outstanding – genuinely welcoming and attentive. Our room was spacious, modern, and offered stunning views over the vineyards – a perfect place to unwind. Dinner was a true highlight, with fantastic food and excellent wine pairing recommendations that really elevated the experience. All in all, a memorable short stay – we would love to come back for a longer visit!

The outdoor area is a true highlight: the pool was crystal clear and the garden beautifully maintained – ideal for relaxing or enjoying meals outside. We also appreciated the little thoughtful touches throughout the house, which made us feel instantly at home. What made our stay even more special was the incredible support from the host. Not only was communication smooth and professional, but they also went above and beyond to assist us, even with rather unusual requests. Truly exceptional hospitality.
