Residence Le Grand Chalet is just 200 metres from Courmayeur's pedestrian area and 100 metres from the main cable car. This former cinema now features self-catering apartments and a free wellness centre.

The chalet offers all the conditions for a pleasant holiday. The view from the balcony is enchanting. The room was spacious and comfortable. The daily cleaning service was impeccable.

The apartments have all of the comfort of an apartment but with the service and care of being looked after in a hotel. The staff were exceptional and so kind and attentive. Breakfasts delivered were high quality and delicious. The spa was perfect and well maintained, a truly lovely stay.

We had a wonderful stay at TH Courmayeur! The staff were lovely, nothing was too much trouble and we especially valued the restaurant staff who were very professional and welcoming to us and our children. The rooms were spotless and the facilities of the hotel are great. We enjoyed swimming and using the spa. The quality of the food was very high and we enjoyed it all. Access to the Val Veny lift is a real plus and we hired and stored our skis at Savoye Sport at the top of the lift which was really easy and the equipment was fab quality.

Rooms at Maison Saint Jean have warm colour schemes, wood floors and wood-beamed ceilings. Each one comes with free Wi-Fi and an LCD TV with satellite and pay-per-view channels. Most have a balcony. Staff went above and beyond to make us happy (and warm) after I somehow forgot my ski jacket. The facilities and location are brilliant - especially the sauna / steam room / pool, which we hired exclusively for an hour each night for just €20!
